My Map & Responses to 5 themes to geography

-Answer: Analyzing the five themes of geography helps people understand connections between people and the earth by letting people see everything clearer. What I mean by this is it helps people understand what they didn't know about the world before. I think this because, people can't always comprehend everything about the world. Its features but the 5 themes help people step by step with understanding the world. Most people know what location is, but some people know how to find location. Same with region. People know what it is but some people know why it’s defined as a region
-Answer: Probably Location. Location is very self explanatory. However it's harder to understand HOW to FIND the location (For me atleast). I think this because, many parts make up how to find an exact location or a relative location. It's not as simple as finding it on a map and saying I found its location. No, you need to put the degrees in there aswell. You also need to put wether its North, South, East, or West.

I find that doing cardinal directions is easy. I find it easy because all the knowledge you require to do it, is knowing how to read the compass rose and to know your basic directions. I also found that doing the oceans continents and titles easy. Because, when I was younger I made it a fact to know where all my favorite countries (and oceans) are on the globe.

I found that (for me) coordinates and map key legend were hard to learn. In fact I still have little to no skill in those two things whatsoever. I think that those give me a harder time because it requires much more knowledge on geography than just knowing North, South, East and West. that and I think it requires a better understanding in math, which isn't something I specialize in. But I will figure it out before the topic switches. Sooner or later.

But overall, I know that map skills are very important. For example if you get lost in the woods while camping and you just so happen to have a compass, then you could find your way back to wherever you need to go. Or, when you need to find a place on a map for your Social Studies class you can find it easier.
